The infusion of Sage has been one of Greece’s most popular herbal teas for centuries. In ancient times, it was considered a sacred tree dedicated to god Apollo. Nowadays, in Crete, it is a widespread belief amongst the locals that they owe their longevity to the herb! You’ll need 1 tsp (0.5 g) per 250 ml cup of Sage tea. Brew for 5 minutes at 95°C, covered.
