The factory system utilizes a small single low pressure fuel pump which simply is not enough to support an upgraded HPFP, or aftermarket port injection systems. Our AMS Snailworks® Engineering Team took this as an opportunity to not only increase the total throughput of the fuel pump system, but to do it in such a way that all of the OEM functionality is not just retained, but improved. Gone are the days of being required to keep your fuel tank filled to a minimum of a half tank, hacking up your factory pump basket, or being forced to use an external fuel surge tank mounted in the trunk. Allowing for massive fuel flow, the single pump system supports 800 HP, while the dual pump system is capable of supporting an astounding 1400 HP and is the perfect match for aftermarket port injection systems.
